After School Programs

Timber Ridge and Clover Ridge Elementary Schools have a variety of before and after-school programs to serve our students beyond the regular school day. Many of the ideas are yet to be planned and implemented. This will be a constantly evolving process.

The Community Before & After School Child Care Program (CAP) is at Clover Ridge and the Boys & Girls Club of Albany is at Timber Ridge.

CAP typically offers before-school care, kinder care during the day, and after-school care. Boys & Girls Club offers after-school activities.

NOTE: Students will be able to use either program regardless of what building they attend.

Many other clubs and activities may be planned and will be announced periodically. If you would like to see something offered please let us know. Funding is very limited, but with volunteer time and support we could offer some engaging possibilities. Partnerships with other community groups is also something we are interested in.

Timber Ridge currently is offering an after-school strings program. Students meet twice per week and can learn to play a stringed instrument (violin, viola, etc.). Contact our Principal, Jodi Dedera, if you are interested.

Timber Ridge will also offer a before-school advanced choir and band program. They meet twice per week. Please contact our new band and choir director, or the school office, for more information.

Timber Ridge is also looking to start a Lego Robotics program in the fall. We need adult volunteers. Please contact the Timber Ridge office if you are interested in getting something started.

Clover Ridge may have one or more after-school programs depending on interest and adult support.
